US CELLULAR FIELD CHICAGO

On our first full day in Chicago, Conor and I went to U.S. Cellular Field to see the White Sox play the Cleveland Indians.  It was a fairly exciting game since both teams scored many runs in many innings.  White Sox home runs and game wins are noted with fireworks behind left field.  The White Sox eventually won the game, 14 to 7 so there was a lot of fireworks!

This was the view from our seats.

The vendors at U.S. Cellular Field wear bright yellow/green shirts, and if you look into the shaded area in the right of the photo, you can see them dotted amongst all the people on the lower level.  Conor and I decided that the shirts probably glow in the dark!

Conor is at an age where he hates to have his photo taken.  You have to snap them when you can!
