Here is a slightly different twist on the standard Thanksgiving side dish.  It uses Kraft’s Philadelphia cooking cream.

2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed and broken in two

1 tub (10 oz) Philadelphia Savory Garlic Cooking Cream

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup sliced almonds

1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.  Cook beans in boiling water 3 minutes; drain.  Place in 2 quart casserole sprayed with cooking spray.  Add cooking cream and pepper, mix well.  Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over mean mixture.  Bake 30 minutes or until beans are tender and topping is golden brown.
