Another variation on the mashed potatoes theme.
CHIVE AND ONION MASHED POTATOES
2 pounds baking potatoes, about 6, peeled and quartered
1/2 cup milk
1 8z tub of cream cheese with chives and onions
1/4 cup ranch dressing
Cook potatoes in boiling water in large saucepan 20 to 25 minutes or until tender, drain. Mash potatoes, gradually stirring in milk, cream cheese and dressing until ight and fluffy.
NOTE: You can use whipped pain cream cheese and add in your own freshly chopped chives and onions. Dried onion pieces would be especially good for this.
