1 – 18 oz package brownie mix (family size)

1 – 8 oz package cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup sugar

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.  Prepare brownie batter as directed on package; spread into 13 x 9 baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.  Beat cream cheese with mixer until creamy.  Add sugar, egg and vanilla; mix well.  Drop by tablespoonfuls over brownie batter; swirl gently with knife.  Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until cream cheese mixture is lightly browned and toothpick comes out with fudgy crumbs.  Do not overbake.  Cool completely and keep refrigerated.  For best results, do not use brownie mix with a syrup pouch.
