  1. I bet if you pass this way in five years it will have tumbled, few Irish people can afford to restore a beautiful old building because of the restrictions imposed on them when they attempt to do so.
    It is a pity this is happening as I feel we are losing a link to our past (Maria)

    • I have seen this already. My first trip to Ireland was in 1990 and since then many abandoned old buildings have either fallen into complete rubble or have been cleared away all together. It’s a shame.

      • I agree and it is what prompted us to restore my husbands grandmothers house. It was a labour of love but worth it in the end.
