Apparently my mother and dad visited my great aunt and family fairly frequently because they took photos each time. They must have gone for Sunday dinner because they certainly were all dressed up. That’s my dad on the left, Ray Marlin, my mother next to him, Anna Shank Marlin, then my great aunt, Anna (McMenus) Tweddell, her daughter, Ednah B. Lewis, and Anna’s husband, Walter Tweddell on the right end. Taken at Aunt Annie and Uncle Walter’s home in what is now Highland Park, California. The house s still standing. I drove past it the other day on a return trip from downtown L.A., and the whole house has been stuccoed over, but the craftsman look is still there.
