I have tried this using blueberry muffin mix and pecans instead of banana muffin mix and walnuts.
MAPLE BANANA PULL-APARTS
1 package banana muffin mix
1/2 cup warm water
1-1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
In a medium bowl, stir together muffin mix, water, yeast, oil, eggs and cinnamon until well blended. Add flour, stir for 20 strokes. Let rest at least 2 hours in a warm place. Can leave for up to 10 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a 13 x 9 baking pan, heat butter, maple syrup and nuts until butter is melted. Spread evenly on bottom of pan. With rounded teaspoons, spoon dough into warm pan. Bake 3 minutes or until lightly brown. Turn onto platter and serve immediately. Makes approximately 20 rolls.
