ICED COFFEE WITH CREAM FLOAT

My mother didn’t drink coffee; she was a tea drinker all her life, but occasionally we made these coffee “floats”–a recipe from her red cookbook.

ICED COFFEE WITH CREAM FLOAT

Fill a tumbler with cracked ice.  Pour warm coffee over the ice and add two tablespoons heavy cream.  Top with one tablespoon of sweetened whipped cream.
