Haunted Well, Tramore, County Waterford

Here is an old image showing the “haunted” well in Tramore.  I’ve read quite a lot about how ghosts are sometimes seen after midnight at the well, but no one seems to be able to tell me how the well became haunted and what people the ghosts were when they lived in Tramore.  Below is a current photo of the well.

I took these photos in early October, and the leaves were amazing…every color from white to lavender and back again.
