HOLY CROSS CHURCHYARD, Tramore, County Waterfor

click on the photos for larger images.

I am not exactly sure how people are interred in Ireland, but it appears that many people are laid to rest in one large grave.  The slabs on top (or erected standing) start with the first person’s name, dates of birth and death etc., and then blank space is left as people are added toward the bottom of the slabs.

Cuddihy and Power are family names in Tramore.
