CORAL TREE AT DISNEY CONCERT HALL – Reposted

8-7-14:  This is one of my favorite photos.  See below which was originally posted in May, 2012.

A couple of Sundays ago, I went to the Disney Concert Hall for the first time.  It was an afternoon program of Schubert by the L.A. Philharmonic and a baritone whose name I can’t recall off the top of my head.  There were songs by the baritone in the first half and a symphony in the second half.  During intermission, we strolled out to the public garden where the coral trees still had a few blooms on them.  This tree looked ethereal up against the silver of the building.  The camera caught the mood fairly well even though it was taken in broad daylight without a flash.  That’s the sun shining on the building.
