PUMPKIN PIE CAKE

This one is really easy but turns out quite spectacularly!

PUMPKIN CAKE

1 package yellow cake mix

1/2 cup melted butter

1 egg

Reserve one cup of dry cake mix, mix the rest of the mix with butter and egg.  Put in a 13 x 9 inch greased baking pan.

FILLING

3 cups canned pumpkin pie mix

2 eggs

2/3 cup milk

Mix together and pour on top of cake mixture.

TOPPING

1 cup of dry reserved cak mix

1/4 cup sugar (I often used brown sugar or both)

1/4 cup butter

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix ingredients together and sprinkle on top of cake mixture and filling.  Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes.  Serves 12.
