Great Uncle Scott Marlin – circa 1910

001aThis photo is in fairly bad shape, but I thought I would put it up since it’s one of few I have of my Great Uncle Scott Marlin.  Scott was my grandfather’s younger brother, and as near as I can tell, this was probably taken about 1910 or 1912.  Written on the back is “Scott and his mule in the barn lot.”  He was the son of James Jones and Lunda Carrie (Hall) Marlin, who lived in Webster County on their farm near the Dallas and Laclede County lines.  They lived nearer to Conway, Missouri than to Marshfield, even though technically they lived in Webster County.

  1. If you don’t mind, I’d like to fix up this photo (Great Uncle Scott Marlin – circa 1910) so it doesn’t look so worn. Let me know. And if you want me to, let me know where I can send it, or I can post it on my own wordpress photo blog where you can copy it.

I too have ancestors in Laclede County, MO.

If my email address doesn’t show up to you, you can reach me by leaving a comment at http://fstopfantasy.wordpress.com/ .
