TWIN OAKS Texaco Station near Phillipsburg, MO 1930’s

003aIn the 1930’s, my great aunt, Anna McMenus Faulkner Tweddell, visited her childhood home and relations in Phillipsburg, Missouri.  Here she is visiting her sister-in-law, Sade Bilderback McMenus, who owned and ran the gas station, restaurant and rental cabins called Twin Oaks on the road from Phillipsburg to Conway.  As you can see from the sign, it was a Texaco station.

    • Thanks for taking a look. I am packing to move at the end of December, but within a couple of months, I will be back to blogging and have a lot more information on Phillipsburg, photos, etc., so come back and take a look after the first of the year. Thanks.
