Killiney Hill Park was opened in 1887 as a 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s reign. It was originally known as Victoria Hill. This tower stands atop the hill today, and on a clear day, you can see for miles around. Killiney, Killiney Bay, Bray and the Sugar Loaf Mountains to the south, Dublin Bay and the Irish Sea to the east, and of course, Dublin City, Howth and Malahide to the north.

Lucky you! I only get to do it when I am visiting friends in the area.
