Old Stone Pier at Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland

007This is another Enda Cavanagh photograph.  It shows an old stone pier at Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland.  To the left is the coast leading to Sandymount (Dublin 4), and to the right the waste disposal towers at Dublin Bay.  The River Liffey and the Dublin quays are just beyond.

  1. Those “towers” are the chimney stacks at ESB Poolbeg electricity generation station. There is no waste incinerator in Dublin.
