LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA in the 1920’s

010This is a snapshot of visitors to my great aunt, Anna L. Tweddell, after she married Uncle Walter in late 1923.  They often took visitors to the beach at Long Beach (other snapshots are labeled but this one is not).  The swimwear dates it to the 20’s.  Those are shoreline buildings, one or two of them hotels and a theatre.

  2. Love Long Beach. I live just 6 miles away. It has changed so much by the pier in the last 10 years.
