SLOW COOKER MEATBALLS IN HEARTY RED SAUCE

Another quick and easy recipe which just combines prepared ingredients in the crock pot.

SLOW COOKER MEATBALLS IN HEARTY RED SAUCE

2 pounds frozen Italian meatballs

1 large onion, peeled and chopped

1 teaspoon chopped garlic

1 – 8 oz can chopped tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano (Italian blend)

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 lb. bulk Italian sausage

1 bunch parsley, chopped (no stems)

1 – 45 oz jar spaghetti sauce

Mix all ingredients together in your slow cooker, making sure to break up the sausage into pieces.  Cook on High for 4 to 5 hours or on Low for 8 to 9 hours, stirring occasionally.  Serve over spaghetti or alongside crusty Italian bread.

ENJOY!
