  1. I apologise for losing your e-mail address; I promised you a recipe for sweet onions with herbs de provence. You can use any onion; Vidalias are best, Maui are a little chalky, but make do with what you can. Hunger is the best sauce! Peel the onion, slice off the top and bottom. Score it lengthwise and cross-ways. Add herbs de provence, a pat of butter, and paprika, Put a little water in a shallow cooking sheet and bake them until they’re nearly falling apart. Sorry, I’m no Julia Child, but I’m sure you can figure it out, and you’ll be happy for it!
