ROYAL MARINE HOTEL – Kingstown, County Dublin, Ireland

royal marineThis is an old advertising card that was listed recently on eBay.  The reverse side of the card is below.  This was obviously meant to entice people in England into spending their holidays on the County Dublin shore.  Kingstown reverted to being known as Dun Laoghaire (the original name) in 1922 when Ireland became independent.  The hotel is still thriving today though there have been some renovations.  Click on the images for larger views.
