The Pavilion at Kingstown (Dun Laoghaire) circa 1905-1910 – County Dublin, Ireland

001aThis is a very old image by Valentine of the Pavilion at Kingstown (now Dun Laoghaire), County Dublin, Ireland.   The wooden pavilion has been replaced by several successive structures, and today it is a large, white stucco structure housing restaurants and shops.

  1. This building was burnt to the ground in 1916 and replaced by a cinema which was in turn demolished about ten years ago and replaced by the current building comprised of shops, cafes and a theatre.

    • Thanks for the information, but I think the current building has been there more than ten years.
