This recipe is very much like a sorbet, but does not set as long in the freezer.
STRAWBERRY FROSE
Blend one pound hulled ripe strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in blender until smooth. Pout into a 13x 9 pan and stir in one 750 ml bottle of rose wine or very fruity red wine. Cover and freeze, stirring with a fork halfway through, until mixture is slushy, 4 to 5 hours. Remove from freezer and stir again with a fork, breaking up larger clumps. Scoop into wine glasses, garnish with strawberries and serve with a spoon.
