We took a carriage ride at Glendalough. It took us down the road to a small lake, the name of which escapes me at the moment. It was one of those typical “summer” days in Ireland where the weather was considered good by the locals because it was not raining, but it was overcast by Los Angeles standards, thus reinforcing an Irish friend’s belief that some of L.A.’s worst days are similar to a good day in Ireland! It wasn’t hot, it wasn’t cold, it wasn’t raining, but the overcast conditions don’t make for the best photographs.
Not sure what the two guys standing in water were doing, but they did not have fishing poles, and they weren’t the only ones in the water looking for something….
