RUTHANNA LEWIS – About 1915

This is my mother’s first cousins’ daughter, or my second cousin, Ruthanna Lewis.  Her mother was Ednah Barbara Forkner, who married Frank Lewis in Stevensville, Montana in 1908.  They moved to be near his family in Los Angeles not long after the wedding and Ruthanna was born in 1912.  She was a beautiful little girl and I have many more photos of her which I will post.  Ruthanna’s name was in honor of her grandmother, Anna Laura McMenus Forkner (later Tweddell).  Her cousin was also named in honor of their grandmother, her name being Ritzanna Rodgers.
